Cat Only drinks Ecovortek Water

I have been enjoying using an Ecovortek Well for several months now. I find it light and sweet and easy to drink.

After giving my elderly cat water from the Ecovortek Well a few times, I gave him tap water by mistake. He refused to drink this until I replaced it with water from the Well. This happened on two or three occasions. Each time he refused tap water, but happily drank when it was replaced with water from the Well.

Pigs Prefer Ecovortek Treated Water

Article written by Brian Hardy, Pig Nutrienist, May 2007

The importance of the nature and quality of water can be crucial in the care, growth rates and wellbeing of stock. The need to access more ‘marginal water’ e.g. bore water with higher salt content, has presented problems for farmers ranging from maintenance of pipes and equipment to the condition and health of stock drinking that water.

A patented technology and product wholly created and based in S.A. has shown very encouraging results in trials to date. It is now undergoing further trials with weaner pigs. The weaners have definitely shown a preference for the Ecovortek treated water in controlled trials (75%) and in a side by side trial with 250 weaners those in the ecoshelter treated with Ecovortek have consumed 5% more water.

The Ecovortek unit is a unique water powered device generating a static electric charge by passing water through a vortex flow form, just like nature. It energizes water, improving operational efficiencies, water taste, smell, allowing better use of marginal water and reduces water use and hard water effects.

"Until last summer when we installed Ecovortek, on our stock and domestic water was hard and put your teeth on edge to drink it with an almost metallic taste. Stock would walk to water many times a day in summer just to take a sip at a time then walk away.

Now stock come to water less often each summers day yet drink a good long draught when they're at the trough. This translates directly into increased weight gains even through one of the worst seasons in living memory.

And the water treated by Ecovortek for the household is very drinkable, lathers nearly as well as rainwater and has no metallic taste. Iron bacteria, giving that red sludge in pipe work, which lives in our system is reduced to very tolerable levels.

There's no doubt that the animals taste the same difference that we humans can. Quite amazing!

Nic"

"I had another fascinating experience with Ecovortek treated water this time with a mob of 2,000 sheep.

We kept the mob in a pen for nearly two days without water. When we let them into a holding paddock with a water trough they all rushed for a drink. Each sheep had a little drink and just seemed to splash around in the trough while making it easy for the next sheep to come to the trough and have a sip.

We then moved the mob to a grazing paddock where the trough was fed by the same water but this time it was treated with the Ecovortek. The sheep headed straight to the trough and drank and drank and wouldn't let the other sheep in. The sheep at the back pushed and shoved trying to get the sheep in front out of the way. This went on for ages. Eventually all the sheep had a good draught and seemed satisfied.

I've never seen anything like it. Quite amazing!

Cheers,
Nic"
